Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Coverage
1791 Industries warrants its firearms, components and other products against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser (“Original Owner”) who purchased directly from 1791 Industries or one of its authorized, licensed dealers.
This warranty applies only to the Original Owner and is non-transferable. Any transfer of the product voids this warranty. This Limited Warranty supersedes any and all other warranties, express or implied.
2. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Consumable parts (e.g., springs, pins)
- Improper maintenance or neglect
- Misuse, including criminal misuse, negligence, or use under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Accidental damage or improper handling
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations
- Damage from defective, reloaded, or improper ammunition
- Corrosion or damage from environmental exposure
- Firearms used in commercial settings (e.g., range rentals)
- Accessories from other manufacturers (those may be covered under their own warranties)
1791 Industries will make the final determination as to whether a product is defective and covered.
3. Limitation of Liability
Unless otherwise required by law:
- 1791 Industries and its affiliates, parents, and subsidiaries (collectively, “1791 OLG”) are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or any incidental, punitive, special, indirect, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or business) arising from the use or inability to use its products.
- 1791 OLG’s maximum liability is limited to the original purchase price paid, excluding shipping and insurance costs.
4. Disclaimer of Other Warranties
Except as expressly stated in this Limited Warranty:
- 1791 Industries disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or arising from course of dealing or trade usage.
- Any implied warranties that cannot be disclaimed by law are limited to the minimum duration allowed by law.
- No one, including dealers or third parties, is authorized to extend or modify this warranty.
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim:
- Provide written notice within one (1) year of purchase.
- Include proof of purchase (original receipt).
- Obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) from 1791 Industries before shipping any product. Please refer to our Return and Exchange Policy.
- For requests made after the one-year period, 1791 Industries may, at its sole discretion, issue an RMA but is not obligated to do so.
6. Warranty Service Options
If a valid claim is accepted, 1791 Industries will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product (using new or refurbished parts), or
- Replace it with a product of equal or greater value
Products replaced under warranty become the property of 1791 Industries.
RMAs for user-damaged or lost components may incur a replacement fee.
7. Shipping Instructions
Before shipping your product:
- Ensure the product is unmodified, clean, and unloaded; remove accessories unless instructed otherwise.
- Remove all ammunition from the product and packaging.
- Place the completed RMA form inside the package.
- Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws when shipping firearms.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in the package being refused and returned at your expense.
